The 7th International Conference on Discovery Science (DS'04) will be held at the University of Padova, Padova, Italy during October 2-5, 2004. DS'04 will be co-located with ALT'04, the 15th International Conference on Algorithmic Learning Theory. The two conferences will be held in parallel, and they will share their invited talks. They are immediately followed by SPIRE, the 11th Conference on String Processing and Information Retrieval. The 3 conferences together with their satellite tutorials and workshops are called Padova Dialogues 2004.

The proceedings of DS'04 will appear as volume 3245 in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence of Springer-Verlag.
